Lake Shore Electric, a trusted leader in power distribution equipment since 1922, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Specialist to join our inside sales team in Bedford, OH. Based in our state-of-the-art 110,000-square-foot facility, you’ll prepare accurate quotations and proposals for switchboards, transfer switches, UL 508A control panels, enclosures, and integrated power systems using our NetSuite platform. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed quotations and proposals using NetSuite based on customer inquiries and RFQs.
- Analyze technical drawings and single-line diagrams to provide accurate pricing.
- Enter orders per company policies and collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production teams.
- Engage with customers and sales managers to clarify requirements and provide updates.
- Maintain organized records and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay updated on product specs to ensure knowledgeable customer interactions.
- Demonstrate a “get it done” mentality with prompt task completion.
Requirements
- 2+ years in inside sales, estimating, or proposal development, preferably in electrical/industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment (e.g., switchboards, switchgear, transfer switches).
- Ability to read and interpret single-line drawings and technical specs.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive work ethic and onsite availability in Bedford, OH.

Job Brief
We are looking for an Electrical Test, Quality, & Support Technician to ensure the safety and reliability of our electrical systems.
Responsibilities include conducting electrical tests and inspections per UL, NEC, IEEE, and NETA standards on products like UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1008 Transfer Switches, and ANSI Switchgear. You’ll troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance, prioritize safety, manage test equipment, collaborate with teams, and provide customer support for product startup, troubleshooting, and warranty claims.
