Description

The Lake Shore Electric Corporation Area Protection Panels are designed to monitor multiple points in an electrical system for proper normal source voltages. In the event of a failure in any area, a contact output will be given to the emergency power system to initiate and supply the emergency loads. Upon restoration of the normal power source the emergency system will be signaled to disengage and return to normal power.

Features

  • U.L. 1008 Listed, these Area Protection Panels are rated for application up to 600 volts AC.
  • Available from one (1) to twenty-four (24) monitoring points.
  • Available voltages 120/240 VAC 1Ø and 200 – 480 VAC 3Ø.
  • Multiple voltages can be monitored in a single panel (consult factory).
  • Form “C” dry contact output to emergency power system.
  • Three phase units also monitor phase rotation.
  • Utilizes solid state relays.
  • Visible indication of failed circuit is provided directly on the sensing relay.
  • NEMA 1 Wall mount enclosure standard, ANSI-61 Light Gray.
  • Key locking handle provided.

  • Common Failure indicating light mounted on enclosure door.
  • Area Failure indicating lights, one per monitoring point mounted on enclosure door.
